☀️ HOYA SUNRISE: THE COLOR-CHANGING BEAUTY 🌿

Transform your plant collection with the Hoya ‘Sunrise’, a stunning hybrid that literally glows when given the right light! A cross between Hoya lacunosa and Hoya obscura, this "wax plant" is famous for its dramatic color transformation and intoxicating evening fragrance. ✨

🎨 THE "SUN-KISSED" TRANSFORMATION The magic of the Hoya Sunrise is in its foliage. In standard indoor light, the leaves are a lush, glossy emerald green. However, when placed in bright, indirect light, the plant undergoes "sun-stressing"—a natural, healthy reaction that turns the leaves a vibrant deep red, maroon, or bronze.

🌸 HEAVENLY FRAGRANCE Expect a treat for your senses! This Hoya is a prolific bloomer, producing clusters of fuzzy, star-shaped, cream-colored flowers. The scent is a delightful mix of sweet honey and citrus, which becomes most intense during the evening hours. 🍯🍋

🚀 FAST-GROWING & RESILIENT Whether you’re a Hoya collector or a beginner, the Sunrise is incredibly forgiving. It is a vigorous grower compared to other varieties and looks spectacular whether it is trailing from a hanging basket or climbing a trellis. 🪴

📋 QUICK CARE GUIDE

☀️ Light: High bright, indirect light. A touch of soft morning sun is the secret to bringing out those iconic red colors.

💧 Watering: Allow the soil to dry out significantly between waterings. The leaves will feel slightly flexible when it's thirsty!

🪴 Soil: Requires a chunky, well-draining mix (like orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir).

🌡️ Temperature: Prefers warm environments (18°C – 27°C). Keep away from cold drafts!

🐾 Pet Safety: Non-toxic and pet-friendly! 🐶🐱

💡 PRO TIP: To maximize the red pigmentation, keep your Hoya Sunrise in a spot that receives high-intensity light for several hours a day. If the leaves stay solid green, it’s a sign your plant is asking for a brighter window!

‼️ Important Info for All Plant Cuttings ‼️

After your purchase, please take a moment to read the note from me that includes tips and tricks for propagating your cutting successfully! While it’s rare, shipping stress can sometimes affect cuttings. If you notice any issues upon arrival, please reach out within 48 hours of delivery. I'm happy to offer a refund, replacement, or coupon if there's a problem — but I can only help if I hear from you within that window!

🌿 Normal Shipping Stress
It's completely normal for cuttings to show signs of stress such as wilting, yellowing, or browning during transit. This doesn't mean the cutting is dead — as long as the node is healthy, the cutting is still viable and has the potential to root and grow.

📦 Shipping & Weather Notes
All cuttings are shipped via USPS Standard Shipping. If you’d like a quicker option, please select Priority Shipping at checkout.

If temperatures in your area are expected to drop below 50°F (10°C), I strongly recommend adding a heat pack to your order (available in the shop or as a shipping upgrade). This helps protect your cutting during transit and reduces the risk of cold damage.

🌡️ Weather & Delivery
Please keep an eye on the weather in your area. I do my best to pack your plants with care, but I’m not able to control USPS delays, weather-related issues, or delivery errors. If there’s a delivery problem, you can contact USPS directly — but I’m always happy to help where I can, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
