🌿 How to Care for Starter Plants After They Arrive by Mail

1. Unpack Gently
Open the box carefully and remove your plants right away. Handle them by the pot or root area — not by the leaves or stems.

2. Let Them Breathe
Place your starter plants in a bright, indirect light spot to recover from shipping stress for 24–48 hours. Avoid direct sunlight at first.

3. Check Moisture Levels
Touch the soil — if it’s dry, lightly water it. If it’s damp, wait a day before watering. Don’t overwater while the roots adjust.

4. Inspect for Stress
Some yellowing, curling, or slight drooping is normal after shipping. Trim any damaged leaves or stems with clean scissors.

5. Gradual Adjustment
After a few days, slowly introduce your plant to its ideal lighting and humidity conditions. Sudden environmental changes can shock it.

6. Keep Warm & Humid
Keep plants in a warm spot (65–80°F). Light misting or a humidity dome can help encourage recovery and new growth.

7. Feed Later
Wait at least 3–4 weeks before fertilizing. Give your plant time to settle and start growing actively again.

💚 Motto: Rooting for Joy — helping every plant find its new home.
