Growing a new plant from a single leaf, It may take time, but it’s incredibly satisfying!

Begonia Mystery Box Surprise Plant Box Single Stem Leaf Cutting

You get one leaf and a small part of the stem for single leaf Propagation. You pick the amount of different Begonia plant cuttings that will be sent. They will arrive in a plastic bag as seen in the last 3 pictures. We currently do NOT include Plant IDs but if you would like to know please message me and if we know the plant ID I will be happy to let you know its name.


🌱 1. Leaf Cutting Propagation (Best for Rex & Rhizomatous Begonias)
This method uses a single leaf to grow new baby plants. It may take time, but it’s incredibly satisfying!

🔧 You’ll Need:
A begonia leaf or a few good ones bought from us
Potting mix (light and well-draining)
Shallow container or seed tray
Optional: clear humidity dome or plastic bag

Lay the leaf sections flat on moist potting mix, cut side down. Press gently into the soil so the veins touch the surface.

Mist the soil and cover the container with a humidity dome, clear plastic wrap, or a plastic bag to retain moisture.

Place in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun.

Wait patiently! In a few weeks, tiny new plants will sprout
It’s non-toxic to pets, but always best to keep plants out of reach just in case.
