👑 Hoya Queen — The Elegant Climber
The Hoya Queen, also known as Hoya carnosa ‘Krimson Queen’, is a true statement plant for any collector. With creamy white and pink variegation along its leaf edges, this tropical beauty brings a regal charm to any indoor garden. As it matures, its vines trail gracefully or climb beautifully on supports, earning its royal title among the Hoya family.
This plant loves bright, indirect light — the more light it gets, the stronger the variegation becomes. Avoid harsh, direct sunlight that can burn the leaves. In lower light, the creamy edges may fade slightly, but it will still grow well with steady care.
When it comes to watering, less is more. Let the top layer of soil dry before giving it a thorough drink, and always ensure good drainage. The Queen prefers to dry out between waterings rather than stay wet, making her a forgiving houseplant once you learn her rhythm.
Keep her cozy in temperatures between 65–85°F and provide moderate humidity. A gentle misting or a nearby humidifier helps maintain lush foliage and can encourage blooms. She thrives best in a light, airy mix such as orchid bark blended with perlite and coco coir — roots like to breathe, not sit soggy.
During the growing months of spring and summer, feeding monthly with a balanced fertilizer helps encourage healthy growth and those signature clusters of waxy, pink-centered blooms. Each flower cluster, known as an umbel, has a sweet fragrance that adds to her charm. Be sure never to cut off the old bloom spurs, as she will return to them year after year.
With her creamy white and blush-pink tones, the Hoya Queen is both elegant and easy to care for — perfect for anyone wanting a touch of color and class in their collection. Whether displayed on a shelf or cascading from a hanging basket, she brings warmth and beauty wherever she grows.
💚 Motto: Every leaf tells a story of grace — the Hoya Queen reigns in radiant color.

‼️ Important Info for All Plant Cuttings ‼️
After your purchase, please take a moment to read the note from me that includes tips and tricks for propagating your cutting successfully! While it’s rare, shipping stress can sometimes affect cuttings. If you notice any issues upon arrival, please reach out within 48 hours of delivery. I'm happy to offer a refund, replacement, or coupon if there's a problem — but I can only help if I hear from you within that window!
🌿 Normal Shipping Stress
It's completely normal for cuttings to show signs of stress such as wilting, yellowing, or browning during transit. This doesn't mean the cutting is dead — as long as the node is healthy, the cutting is still viable and has the potential to root and grow.
📦 Shipping & Weather Notes
All cuttings are shipped via USPS Standard Shipping. If you’d like a quicker option, please select Priority Shipping at checkout.
If temperatures in your area are expected to drop below 50°F (10°C), I strongly recommend adding a heat pack to your order (available in the shop or as a shipping upgrade). This helps protect your cutting during transit and reduces the risk of cold damage.
🌡️ Weather & Delivery
Please keep an eye on the weather in your area. I do my best to pack your plants with care, but I’m not able to control USPS delays, weather-related issues, or delivery errors. If there’s a delivery problem, you can contact USPS directly — but I’m always happy to help where I can, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
